Travel and Visa Information for the Future Energy Forum

Visa Information

For nationals of the countries under the visa-free program, a stay of up to 30 calendar days from the date of entry is permitted without a visa.

A visa is required for nationals of countries not covered by the visa-free program. Visa applications must be accompanied by a formal invitation letter to visit Kazahstan. Forum participants can request this visa support documentation from organisers, providing their passport details in the process. The organisers will write the invitation letter and send it to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who subsequently authorise it and send it to the local embassy of the applicant's country. Please note that this process takes at least four weeks, so visitors are advised to apply for visa support well in advance. Please e-mail info@futureenergyforum.org after you have registered if you require visa support. Note that a copy of your passport will be required.
